Hidden Gems Part 1

Hey everyone! Recently I have gotten a lot of request to start blogging about songs and artist that I have found over time that most people would not know about, so I've decided to give it a try. I'm going to start posting songs about once a week (hopefully). I actually love finding songs that people don't know about because its almost like a little secret that you can just share with a few people. These artist typically play smaller venues and go to more places when on tour so you can typically find a good show to go to (unless you live where I live). If you like a song go listen to other songs by the artist! Hope you enjoy!

Matt Corby... I really don't know what to say because he's so fantastic. This song "Resolution" is possibly my favorite song of all time and I mean that in all seriousness, its just so good. His voice is perfect and I want to marry it. If you have time you should watch his YouTube videos his new song "First Thing's First" is my new jam.
(Side-note) If you have a chance look at his eyes because I don't think I've ever seen anything so blue

I found Matthew Mayfield a few years ago by searching through last.fm which is a good way to find new songs because you can search through "similar artist" and find amazing people. This song "Fire Escape" is so amazing and I have been obsessed for a while now and I think it deserves so much more attention. He is usually touring different places and he has new stuff come out a lot so check it out.

I found this song by Haerts while watching "Pretty Little Liars". Which is actually the only version I can find on YouTube so you will have to go check it out on iTunes or Spotify but honestly I am so in love with this song and the entire album. Their main song is called "Wings".

Jamestown Revival otherwise known as my "current" obsession. Honestly they are so good! I love their music, their sound and their personalities (never met them but I watch YouTube). Listen to ALL of their songs!

John Moreland is a genius songwriter and I think he's so underrated. I absolutely love this song on his record "High On Tulsa Heat". I promise if you listen to just one of his songs you will listen to the rest.

Honestly I don't know too much about Saint Raymond but I know that this song is fantastic. I love the meaning behind the song about growing up and realizing in the future you'll miss this so no need to rush. I'm listen to this song all the time and I hope you love it as much as I do.
